The problem
Your volunteers already message the young people in their care. They do it on personal phones, in an app your organization does not control, with no oversight layer of any kind. The policy says one thing. The tool enforces nothing.
A direct message between an adult and a young person is private by default. Your safeguarding lead cannot see it, and neither can anyone else.
Delete for everyone removes the message from both phones. If a concern is raised later, the thing that caused it is already gone.
A message at one in the morning arrives exactly like a message at one in the afternoon. Nothing in the tool marks the difference.
When a parent, a board, or an investigator asks what was said, the answer sits on a volunteer’s personal phone — if it still exists at all.
This platform exists to close those four gaps, and it starts with three things that are not settings a volunteer can turn off.
The three safeguards
These are not add-ons or premium features. They are the reason the product exists, and they are on for every organization from the first day.
Approved leaders can always see every conversation. There is no hidden chat, no secret thread, and no way to create one.
Deleting a message removes it from the conversation. It does not remove it from the record. The original is logged for leader review.
Conversations open and close automatically on a schedule. Late-night contact between an adult and a young person simply is not possible.
Three ways to message
Three tiers, and nothing beyond them. Each tier carries the same oversight, retention, and curfew rules — there is no corner of the product where the safeguards stop applying.
Tier 1
The conversation that matters most, and the one that carries the most risk. It runs in the open, with named leaders attached.
Supervised by default. Curfew applies.
Tier 2
A youth group, a team, a small circle. The leader posts to everyone in it, and every member sees the same thread.
Same visibility and retention rules as a 1-on-1.
Tier 3
One announcement to a whole collective. Deliberately narrow — an announcement channel, not an events product.
Who may broadcast is set per organization.
Concern alerts
Automated scanning exists to get a concern in front of a human quickly. What follows is the whole path it takes.
Messages are checked for the behaviours that precede harm, across all three tiers.
The flag does not sit in a report nobody opens. It goes to a person, with the category attached.
The alert links straight to the evidence, so the supervisor sees the full context in one step.
The checking runs on our own servers, by matching known patterns of words. No message is sent to an outside company, and no artificial-intelligence service reads a young person's conversation. It is an aid to safeguarding judgement, not a replacement for it: it decides nothing on its own, and it does not close a concern — only a person does that.
Getting started
Four steps, in this order. Nothing opens up before the step in front of it is done.
Which messaging tiers you use, who may broadcast, your curfew hours and time zone, your moderation rules, and whether guardians get view-only access. Configuration, not a custom build.
Membership is invite-only and every new member is approved by an admin. There is no open signup, so nobody joins by finding a link.
Signup is kept low-friction for a teenager. Parental consent is captured before a young person can take part, and the evidence is stored and reviewable.
Supervisors have visibility, deleted-message logs and audit trails from day one. Safeguarding is not a phase two.

We are not going to put a number on this page and then change it on the call. Cost depends on how many young people you serve, how many countries you operate in, and what your safeguarding requirements are. Tell us those three things and we will quote.
